Well at least when I go on a regular basis...and quite frankly its not like i'm doing them a favour by not showing up because I have nothing to contribute. Best I stay at my 'yawd'. I do go and think it is important. However, lately it seems like I am going through a process. Wake up Stress about getting ready Husband yells at me for taking to long Bring kids to their class Sit there Go home I leave feeling empty, stressed, and thinking about the sleep I could be getting and the millions of things I need to do in my one day off. So I stopped the crazy cycle of doing something just because and go when I feel like it, or when the kids mention it. I am a firm believer in my faith and God, but not a firm beleiver in Church. I do go and think it is important. However, lately it seems like I am going through a process.
Wake up
Stress about getting ready
Husband yells at me for taking to long
Bring kids to their class
Sit there
Go home

I leave feeling empty, stressed, and thinking about the sleep I could be getting and the millions of things I need to do in my one day off.

The alter calls thing make me just want to leave before they even start that. And you're right TOO MANY tithes and offerings. 10 percent will suffice. Asking for anymore makes one tend to get greedy! This may have something to do with working on saturdays, and sundays, and every other day/time church happens to be available.
